January’s Box: Snowy Day

Kids Educational Subscription Boxes

Welcome to January’s Box!

January’s activity box is inspired by the wintery story, ‘The Snowy Day’ by Ezra Jack Keats.

‘The Snowy Day’ is a simple and timeless story which follows a little boy when he wakes up on a snowy day. It showcases the wonder and pure pleasure when the world is under a blanket of snow.

Ezra Jack Keats won the Caldecott Medal for this story. When this story was published in 1962, it was as one of the first picture books to portray a realistic multi-cultural setting. The Snowy Day has come to be regarded as one of the most important picture books ever published.

This box will be posted on Tuesday 5th January.

The box includes everything you need to complete four activities and many more featured on our website.
